Hot Cakes and Supatronix return with another stunning lineup, following on from their December Xmas party which had the venue rammed to the rafters and rocking all night. This time around, they’ve put together a barnstorming lineup that will have breakbeat and bass music freaks throwing their hands up like there’s no tomorrow.

First up is the mighty Krafty Kuts, an EDM icon whose decade-and-a-half-long globetrotting adventures in search of the perfect funked up beat and the filthiest badboy bassline are legion. Currently celebrating the 10th anniversary of his infamous Tricka Technology single with fellow Brighton reprobate ASkillz, the artist otherwise known as Martin Reeves will be gracing Jamm and Hot Cakes with his presence for the first time.

The February lineup also plays host to Hot Cakes head honchos Deekline and Ed Solo, celebrating the launch of their spanking new double album Bounce ‘n’ Shake. With the LP featuring vocal contributions from the likes of Million Dan, Top Cat, Darrison and Sporty-O, and ranging from the baddest breakbeat to the most kick-ass jungle via some serious dubstep rollers, you know this one is going to have ’em reaching for the lasers.

The second special guest this time around is none other than High Wycombe basshead Foamo, one half of the so-hot-right-now Gorgon City production unit on Black Butter Records with Supatronix regular RackNRuin. When it comes to bass music with class and attitude, there is no-one on the scene right now to compare, and JAMM are delighted to have Kye Gibbon down for a debut set at the venue.

Finally, we have London badman Mike Delinquent Project in the place. With massive props from the likes of Annie Mac and Mistajam, this fresh new producer is making future bass music with heavy old skool breakbeat attitude, combining jungle, garage and grime flavours for an upfront new sound that cannot fail to have the bodies flying round the room. Do not miss.

Support in the main Supatronix room comes from Jurassik, Reveal and Se7en Deadly Breaks. Room two is hosted by London crew Habitual, sending down an array of eclectic bass music sounds, with Finger Lickin Records’ legends Slyde sitting atop the lineup.

Hot Cakes and Supatronix events always sell out, so make sure to grab your tickets early. In a desert of head-nodding hipster beats, this is one party guaranteed to inject a bit of good old-fashioned dancehall energy back into proceedings. Can we get a holler?
